Category Description
Those who have completed the curriculum-based training of a vocational degree in logistics and transport technology (truck driver, semi-trailer truck driver, bus driver) can operate safely in logistics in the broad industry of logistics in different environments and changing conditions. They are able work according to a firm's quality and environmental system and also to develop it.
The student who has completed the training is able:
-To operate in the transport industry in customer service and transportation activities
-To transport products economically and safely and also give good customer service
-To load the vehicle with a maximum load according to regulations and existing conditions, and to operate the vehicle safely, economically and responsibly
-To communicate with the communication tools in his/her vehicle and those used in the transport industry
-To operate in national and international environments
-To teamwork in a monocultural or multicultural work environment
-To know the specific requirements for roadworthiness set for his/her vehicle
-To ensure that the vehicle and its auxiliary equipment function technically and safely during the transport operations.
-To be familiar with transportation industry insurance and work safety regulations
-To operate as an entrepreneur or to use entrepreneurial thinking in work
After completion of the curriculum-based training of the vocational degree in logistics and transport technology, the degree holder operates according to the principles of the logistics industry responsibly and properly, and for the advancement of traffic safety.
It is required that the driver has the required driver's licence and the basic vocational qualification in logistics. A requirement for professional qualification is work experience in the profession.
The driver must know how to evaluate his profession and be willing to continually develop himself, his work and his work abilities.
