Participants
Participation is open to young people studying for a qualification in vocational education who have been born in 1991 or after. The vocational basic degree training refers to an education that will lead to a basic degree, or that is a preliminary training in an institute or as an apprentice.

Category Description
The competition tasks in this category are based on the requirements of level 3 (in a scale of 1 to 3) of the curriculum-based vocational training. The Semi-Finals are to be arranged according to Skills guidelines. Competitors can register according to Skills guidelines. The category is based on the basic degree in Building Technology and the special vocational qualification studies in Ventilation Installation.

Skill requirements, the successful competitor should be able to:

-use of ventilation installation basic tools
-sheet metal work methods
-ventilation measurement and electrical technology
-proper staging of work
-entrepreneurship fundamentals
-sustainable development fundamentals
The competition task, time allowed
The competitors will receive directions and drawings, which they will be to perform the tasks. Evaluation will be made on stages of complete tasks. The competition will include duct installation (rectangular and circular), part installation, main appliance installation, part preparation, and measuring and adapting work. The written part is to prepare a task using a parts catalogue and prices, the task to be done by computer, using Excel 2007
Preliminary Evaluation Method
The jury will decide the standings of the competitors by giving points to each competitor. The WorldSkills CIS based point system will be used, in which the category maximum points are 100/600 points.
The competition performances will be judged daily, the final evaluation criteria will be decided by the category jury. In the case of any competitor endangering themselves or others, or using any of the forbidden methods, the competitor can be disqualified.

The areas for evaluation include objective measurements, work safety, final results, use of material, and evaluation of working in general.
